Data Centre for ESA sponsored campaigns

The ESA Campaign DataBase (CDB) is a generalised version of the ESA ENVISAT Cal/Val database currently available at http://nadir.nilu.no/calval. The CDB includes the functionality of the previous system, but is adapted to include data from all ESA campaigns and not only correlative ENVISAT data.

The ESA campaigns are devoted to measurements of a range of parameters such as gravity, ice thicknes, altimetry, vegetation properties, agricultural crops, etc. In addition to performing important measurements, the campaigns are often dedicated to development of instrumental techniques. Such developments often lead to the implementation of a space borne mission.
